Image of the day
People back in Arica sure have the clear picture of what's going on in Italy today.
(Backup image in case they realize what's going on)

My Altervista account (per gli amici Signor Furpo) had expired some time ago. This morning i finally reactivated it, so you can probably expect some more content here soon. Or maybe not. Meanwhile, i uploaded this image gallery again. Enjoy!

My best friend came to visit over the weekend. She left me a box of cadbury's creme eggs. I'm not sure whether i should eat them or rather put them in an incubator and see if something good hatches.

What members of Trabant do when they're not enlightening the masses with their music.
Above: Don Chuckuzzo, relaxing with style on a sunday afternoon.
Not pictured: Oppressed workers, digging holes in the ground just because he felt like giving them orders.

me: "it's lucky Duchamp didn't have his mum around while preparing the Large Glass."
other me: "Why's that?"
me: "she would've kept polishing the dust off."
(cut to robin giggling to himself while passers-by stare at him as if he was a madman)

Started changing the sidebar, now my other three(three!) blogs are finally linked. Even the nerdy one.
Part of the links now open in a new window. All this was interrupted by a thunderstorm outside which made me decide to save the changes while i still can.
Some new links have been added, to places on the internet that refer to people who actually know me in real life. If i've forgotten anybody, or being linked here is just plain bad for your reputation, let me know.
Just to give this post a little more meaning, here's a picture from last saturday:
No, i don't have the slightest idea of what was going on, either.

This site made me lose lots of precious time. I was incredulous at first. Then halfway through the main page i started to scream because my brain was melting.
Oh, and the invisible cloak is just amazing.

Previously Titled "Portrait Of The Artist In Twenty Years' Time, Dressed Up As A Jedi Knight" (as scribbled on the rear). Colored charcoal on black bristol board remnants, dust. RLF 1/11/2003.

(Dialogue when first seen)
Mauro: You're going to be wearing the same clothes in 20 years?
Me: No, they're aged with time and battle ravaged. See? On the sides.
Fred: You sure set high standards for yourself.
Maybe i should frame it.

Oh, and i almost bumped into Graham Coxon today. Which means i got to bigexpensiverecordstoreplace seconds before he put his khaki jacket on and trudged off into the back rooms. So no autographs nor nerdy pictures together (i'm starting to hate those). But i did manage to catch & speak to some other interesting people luckily. Tomorrow, Duino again. And i'm actually looking forward to it. London is a town of unhappy people.
Expect reports of things done while i was around this albion land thingy. Meanwhile, i can tell you that a taxi driver called me a "bum" today (for crossing the road in front of him). Which isn't the choice of language i would have expected in such an environment. I much prefer the term "tramp".

Been in the uk for about 18 hours, and until now i've basically spoken only german, italian and russian(which i don't speak).
Derf and i ended up at a vodka tasting session -among other things- last night. It was almost over, so we didn't manage to taste much, at least we got some snacks to take home. We had been invited in by drunk russian, which is a bit like saying "a furry cat" or "a fast racing car".
Breakfast derf style awaits.
Him: Want some aspirin in your water?
Me: The vitamins are enough, thanks.

Me: Since we're late, we might as well go and see this.
Her: Wallace and Gromit? a cartoon?
Me: Hey! Cartoons are people too!
(epilogue: we went to a club instead)

Just a quick question: Does anybody in the immediate vicinities of wherever it is i live have an old cellphone i can borrow for a week or two? Mine cracked its display in unclear circumstances and now i can only see the top half of whatever's on it, which is a complete waste of my uncanny skill (and secret technique - sshh!) at playing Snake.
I still sort of hope it heals on its own, it's not like i actually know how these things work.
